A financial services organisation is seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst with extensive experience in Linked Investment Products and/or Life Products. The successful candidate will play a key role in defining business requirements, optimising processes, and supporting the development of a cloud-based investment and policy administration platform.

The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience in financial services, with a strong understanding of investment-linked products, policy administration, and regulatory frameworks. Experience in international investment products and platform migrations will be highly advantageous. The role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, product owners, IT teams, and compliance departments to drive strategic initiatives.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering:

• Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs, regulatory requirements, and market trends.
• Elicit, analyse, and document business requirements for investment-linked and life products.
• Collaborate with product, legal, compliance, and IT teams to define product specifications.
• Develop detailed business specifications, process flows, and system requirements.

Process Optimisation & System Improvements:

• Identify opportunities for automation and process enhancements across functions such as reporting, servicing, and finance.
• Define system requirements and support IT teams in solution development.
• Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure smooth product implementation.
• Support training initiatives and contribute to training material development.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication:

• Act as the bridge between business, IT, compliance, and product teams.
• Prepare and present clear proposals, reports, and recommendations to senior management.
• Provide training and knowledge transfer to internal teams regarding product and process changes.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Minimum 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst in Linked Investment Products and/or Life Products.
• Strong knowledge of investment platforms, unit-linked products, and policy administration systems.
• Exposure to international investment products is a strong advantage.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks governing investment and life insurance products.
• Proficiency in business process modelling, data analysis, and reporting.
• Experience with agile methodologies, Jira, and Confluence is preferred.

Qualifications & Certifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or equivalent certification is an advantage.
