Are you a dynamic data engineer passionate about optimising large-scale data ecosystems? PBT Group is looking for a Data Engineer to design and implement robust, scalable processes that support our growing data engineering capability. This role is pivotal in advancing our cloud engineering and data management practices, driving efficiency and enabling data democratization across the organization.

What You'll Do:

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines for complex datasets, ensuring high-quality data processing.
• Implement data management systems to centralize and protect data, enabling seamless access for downstream customers, analytics, and enterprise applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data storage, ingestion, and transformation practices.
• Drive data stewardship and enable data scientists to run models that produce actionable business outcomes.
• Lead initiatives to automate and scale data solutions, optimizing processes for maximum efficiency.
• Provide technical leadership to junior engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and growth.

Core Skills & Experience:

• 3+ years of hands-on data engineering experience.
• Proficiency in ETL/ELT processes and data warehouse architecture.
• Strong experience with AWS, Python, Java, SQL, and any of the following: SSIS, SSRS, Spark, DBA expertise, and cloud data builds.
• Knowledge of data governance and cloud solutions (particularly AWS).
• Experience with DevOps, APIs, and distributed systems is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or similar.
